Rubbish 2.0

Parquet floor made of wood scraps

Wood is a natural product and a renewable resource. And yet in our consumer society, we would stand to gain much by using as few resources as possible. In Flanders, there are several companies that produce wooden parquet flooring. These often use virgin materials. Wood scraps resulting from this kind of production are generally taken away to be burned, albeit using energy recovery. But other approaches are possible.

Rubbish 2.0 is a sustainable parquet floor made of wood scraps.
